Inspiring sustainable change through workforce engagement, environmental training, online communities and focussed events

The E-Reps Network is a leading platform for exchanging insights and engaging with industry peers, operators, regulators, NGOs, and suppliers within the oil and gas sector.

Our focus is on environmental training, facilitation, specialised events, and online communities designed to equip delegates and members with the essential knowledge, skills, and confidence to drive sustainable change.

By fostering leadership in environmental management, we empower individuals to make impactful decisions and promote positive environmental practices across the industry.

We work with hazardous industries to drive environmental improvement and reduce the impacts of their operations.

Enviro Risk Exchange: Creating Resilience in Hazardous Industries

Wednesday March 12th, 2024

P&J Live, Aberdeen

The Enviro Risk Exchange is an exciting new event concept from the E-Reps Network designed to answer these questions by leveraging experience in environmental management and sustainability from across the hazardous industries supply chain.

For the first time, we are creating a sector wide event which will drive cross industry innovation.

Although sustainability is now fundamental in decision-making processes, we believe that its integration into new projects and business planning could be more effective. Now is the time to start thinking outside your industry box.

Key themes: Net Zero and Emissions Reduction, Resource Management and the Circular Economy, Pollution Prevention, People, Planet, Profit.

We Break Down Barriers to Engagement

Our industry-recognized environmental and sustainability training programs are designed for all levels within an organisation, integrating proven methods such as social learning, retrieval practice, and gamification.

We enable individuals, teams, and organizations to engage in meaningful conversations by enhancing their understanding of themselves, others, and the world we live in.

Our courses can be delivered face to face or using a suite of digital tools to create online engagement that continues long after the initial training to reinforce behavioural change.

Public Courses

Our public courses are delivered from Aberdeen, Scotland, and focus on environmental awareness in heavily regulated industries.

Training Case Studies

BEST Offshore Bite Size

We are working with a global energy operator to kick off their new environmental reps initiative in the UKCS.

Following some engagement sessions with key offshore stakeholders, E-Reps will go through a customised Basic Environmental Skills Training course which includes elements of the clients’ EMS delivered over four 2 hour bite size sessions through our online facilitate application.

This delivery method ensures delegates complete all training requirements during work time in a blended model with some self study and activities completed to progress through the modules.

Decommissioning Options

We delivered a virtual training course to a global energy company in Singapore outlining key decommissioning options for fixed platform removal.

As this was new to the delegates, we used North Sea case study examples of piece-small, modular and total platform removal based on our personal project experience. By comparing the environmental, technical, commercial and safety challenges between each option, delegates left with a detailed understanding of option selection and comparative assessment.

BEST Bespoke

Working with a global marine contractor, we created a 1 day F2F environmental training course which included key offshore and maritime legislation, and examples of good practice.

Key elements of their project management and customer interface processes were included to tailor the course for onshore and offshore safety and environmental advisors.

BEST Onshore

Working with the operational leadership team, we delivered a 2 day environmental training course incorporating a new engagement strategy development and implementation to newly appointed E-Reps on an oil terminal in Scotland.

The onshore regulatory regime, culture and operations are significantly different to offshore, so require a different approach. Although there is no requirement under COMAH to have an E-Reps programme, the terminal is within an internationally recognised protected site, so the initiative represents great practice, support to the HSE team and alignment with the offshore operations.
