Jump in to our Carbon Sink!
23 Jul 20
I have given a lot of thought to pragmatic CSR recently and after buying a Trees for Life grove for my son's teacher, I now have my own for the E-Reps Network!
For every delegate on my environmental training courses, I am going to plant a new tree in the Caledonian Forrest. Not only will our trainees take their world changing learning back to work, everyone will have made a lasting contribution to the future of our planet. Two opportunities to inspire sustainable change!
These forests present a natural carbon sink, provide a home to some of our most iconic animals and support rewilding efforts. You will surely remember David Hetherington talking about this at #EReps19?
I always quote Margaret Mead in these situations:
'Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has'
Each tree absorbs around 1 tonne of carbon dioxide in its life time. Imagine what we could achieve in 5 or 10 years time?
You can also jump in the grove by selecting to donate when you book your FREE place at this year's E-Reps Insight event.
