Whats Next for E-Reps?
12 Oct 13
Four days have passed since eReps13 and I am just getting my head around the scale and success of the event on Wednesday… it really did surpass all expectations, again!!
Massive thanks to everyone involved: delegates, exhibitors and speakers, it couldn’t happen without your buy in. Dick Strawbridge was undoubtedly the star of the day and was great at generating interaction between delegates.
The work shop sessions have generated a lot of great ideas to share with everyone and use as a stepping stone to build on during 2013-2014.
As ever, the feedback will be reviewed and incorporated in to next year’s event. If 2012 was to show there was a need for an E-Reps Forum, then 2013 was to reinforce that the event is sustainable and can only get bigger and better. I have some thoughts as to increasing the frequency of the Forum and working groups within it. I will be building on the enthusiasm and momentum that was in the Ballroom on Wednesday to really drive this forward with Operators and the Regulator. We need to strike when the iron is hot and find out from sponsors exactly what they are expecting in terms of role development and how we can all work together to make this happen.
In the last few days, I have had several emails from exhibitors and speakers who want to find out how they can further their involvement with E-Reps. This will generate a number of initiatives to roll out across the industry in the coming year.
Look out for the presentations and the next newsletter which will be the vehicle to roll out the workshop findings before the end of 2013.
Thanks again for you continued support! Let us keep working toward improving environmental performance through work force engagement.
